This policy explains what information the HabitRaid Android app (the "App") uses and how. In short: the App does not require an account, does not send your data to us, shows no ads and does not track you.
1. Information stored on your phone
Your tasks, notes, subtasks, reminder times, progress (XP, level, stats, gold, loot), character appearance, the rewards you define and your app settings are stored only in the App's database on your phone. This information is not sent to Luinasoft or to any other server; we cannot see it.
2. Internet use: book search
The App connects to the internet only when you search for a book in the Book template. In that case, the text you type (book title or author) is sent directly to the following services, and the book cover is loaded from them:
- Google Books — Google Privacy Policy
- Open Library (Internet Archive) — Internet Archive terms
As with any internet connection, these services can see your device's IP address. Your search text is not sent to Luinasoft and is not linked to your identity. If you never use book search (you can enter details manually), the App does not connect to the internet.
3. Notifications
Task reminders and the daily notification are scheduled locally on your phone; they are not sent from a server. You can change notification permission and frequency at any time in your phone settings or inside the App.
4. Home screen widget
The widget reads data on your phone to show your rank, XP and today's tasks. This data does not leave your phone.
5. Permissions
- Internet: only for book search.
- Notifications: for reminders and the daily notification.
- Vibration: for haptic feedback when you complete a task.
- Run at startup: to restore your reminders after the phone restarts.
6. Ads, analytics and tracking
The App contains no ads, does not use an advertising ID, and has no usage analytics or crash reporting services. Your information is not sold or shared with anyone.
7. Backup
If Android's built-in backup is turned on, your phone may back up the App's data to your Google account. This backup is performed by Google according to your phone settings; Luinasoft cannot access it. You can turn it off in your phone settings.
8. Deleting your data
Because all data is on your phone, it is deleted when you uninstall the App or use Settings > Apps > HabitRaid > Storage > Clear data. Luinasoft holds no data about you.
9. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes
If accounts, cloud backup or online features are added to the App in the future, this policy will be updated and the new date will be shown on this page. We will also inform you inside the App about important changes.
